I am going to want more HP and the 2 choices I am faced with are:

1.) Rebuild my T78 turbo with a 72mm or larger wheel with Majestic turbo. I talked to John down there and he said they can machine the cold side and put a larger wheel in there. The Hot side wheel would have to remain the same, but I can have this turbo frakensteined for at most $700ish. I would then get a bolt-vband adapter and do a 4"+ exhaust for maximum HP.

2.) I was looking at getting the Turbonetics GTK 1000 turbo, which I can get for around 1500 bucks. I believe I can get it in a T4 divided so I would not have to get a new manifold made. This turbo is obvesouly far superior since its a BB turbo and it would be brand new.

I dont really care about turbo lag that much, and I know the GTK 1000 might be a little larger wheel. One problem is that the T78 that I currently have is literally up against my fender well and i cant fit a larger turbo without editing my manifold.

So the question is: Is it worth going through all the BS to get the GTK 1000 and spend a lot more, or should I just stick with what I have?
