it goes to engine vacuum. Engine vacuum to solenoid to FPR. Hope that helps. I use the nipple on the bottom of the LIM that points towards the firewall.

one more question, i was debating if i should hook up the fuel injector atomization line (yellow line on the vacuum diagram), is this necessary? I did a reasearch on it and just wanted to know if the single turbo community installed this line.

Thumbs down

The Fuel Pressure Regulator Solenoid is not needed, never was needed, and is a possible source of failure.

All the experienced engine builders know this and do not run them. The explanation that the Mazda manual gives is bogus for a FI engine with a pusher pump. I have not run one since 1999 and I live in hot Houston.

Yes, you definitely want to hook up the pair of oil metering injectors to one of the nipples on the black elbow bolted to the front compressor housing.

^^ Rich he was talking about the fuel atomization line not the oil metering lines, The fuel atomization line i hooked up to the pipe going from the turbo to the intercooler and the Oil metering injectors I got creative and tapped the very top of my air filter and ran a vacuum line to it. Ill take some pictures today and send post one.

Relative to the electrical upgrade and the use of resistors, you might want to take a look at this:
https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...+low+impedance

I'm in the same upgrade stage as you and found this quite educational.

I agree. I have not used my FPR solenoid in years and don't miss it one bit. You can't even tell it's gone. Just run the FPR straight to a manifold vacuum source and remove the solenoid.

i have seen the symptom/problem mazda has described on a couple of cars, it exists. but a) isnt a big deal and b) is a map/software issue these days

^^BASTARD!!!! anyways congrats on the install. Is there a possibility that you could rent a truck and also rent a uhaul trailer and just tow it that way? Or are you not wanting to start the car at all? Just another thought.

Thanks, the whole process went really smooth,it took me 3 days on everything.I did alot of research first and of course the RX7 community had to do alot of the help, THANKS to all, i really appriciate the input! my last option would be paying a tow truck 350 - 400 $$ .. i crank the car today and it was good but i know that im running too rich and thats a nono! thats why im seeking some info on settings on the PFC.
