ok, How's your car running CJ?
Well, its not realy. Just swapped in the new fuel pump, and removed the stock location fuel filter. Need to relocate it, then get it tuned. Getting closer though. CJ

Thanks guys, especially you BDC! As always, you're around when someone needs help. For now, it's in the hands of Corksport, they'll be doing the R&R and the other "odds & ends" since I'm too busy.

Do you mind posting some more exterior pics of your car? (or even just direct me to a thread with some)

It's one of the nicest looking FC's I've seen in a while!

Thanks, but I have a LONG way to go before it's as nice as some of the other members FCs'. As for other pictures of my car, I'll post more when I take more. Right now, not much progress has been made to warrant more picture taking.

What Rad is that. I had a 3inch griffin core with a efan. When i put on the same FMIC as you it ran to hot on the highway. I went back to stock rad and stock clutch fan and the temps are back to normal. Have you had this out on the highway yet? What were your temps?

I just got a quote back from them. $250 for the turbo shield, $300 for the header shield, and $110 for the DP shield.

It's nice and all, but............

Buk - It's the Mazda Comp radiator, NO overheating issues.

Kouki - Some guy in Cali...forget who, yep it's divided.

Turbo1 - Yeah, they're EXPENSIVE!

You'll have to post and let me know how well it works. For that kind of coin, the engine bay ought to be no warmer than 200 max. I'm dealing with a 13B gt40 in a miata engine bay, and the proximity to the UIM/LIM and the turbine housing is within inches. However, I just can't see spending $600 on heat shielding when the rest of the swap barely even cost that.

I'm going to try some vented hood action first. I hope to god I don't have to pony up $600 for some heat shield.
