Make a 1/4 mile pass and post the mph, then we can tell you if you are making the correct power.

I think there are a bunch of people trying to help and very mucha lack of info coming from the owner... take the time to answer a couple of questions people may be asking...

Do a compression check?
What kind of vacuum are you seeing at idle?
Do a vacuum check?
Post a dyno sheet?

Take some time and sort out the info and im sure we can all help you figure it out untill you do that we are all just throwing out a bunch of leads that cant go anywhere untill you help us further break it down. They could have set the paramters up wrong on the dyno which could make it be off by a percentage... But onestly with a t78 at 15 lbs you should be anywhere from 370-430 depending on the tune and porting... So something is for sure wrong...

As far as A/F ratio I would say to be safe around 11.1 tuning range is usually between 10.8-11.3 depending on the tuners ability...

I will answer the questions, I have just been very busy at work lately.
I have friday and saturday off, and I will try and get a compression test done as well as do all my other tests on the car.

anyway, here's the dyno sheet.

what gear did you use on the dyno? I don't know how much if any that will effect power...anyone know? I think people use 4th for the 1:1 ratio

Based on the mph listed on the x axis, that's a 4th gear pull. IIRC, redline is about 140 mph, so the dyno operator took it up there pretty high in the rpm range.

not to stray from the topic at hand too much, but what would happen if someone did a 2nd or 3rd gear pull instead? would the numbers be higher, lower, or unaffected?

that thread basically.. i need to know what rpm to spin the motor to, also why the engine was rebuilt etc. please help me
Hey sorry man i was on vacation
I dynoed that car before it was sold
i made over 20 passes with no problem , at 15psi, it made 411hp if i remember correctly @ 7500rpm, don't hold me too that it's been a while.
I did give the last owner a copy of the dyno sheet
no the motor is not ported, check the plugs, i had it tuned with all 9's in them (that's the 4 trailing plugs)
did the car break up?
also check the boost controller because its a little tricking to set that profec b

Looks like your AFR's bottomed off the chart for quite awhile there (95-120mph). Who knows how rich it really was. If everything seems to check ok, I'd redyno with fresh plugs. I've lost the better part of 100hp on the dyno before with fouled plugs. Good luck.

P.S. Do you know what correction factor it was using on the plot? SAE might be a little lower, but only by a few percent or so. I have seen correction factors get screwed up by the dyno tho due to a wacky temp or pressure reading.

Well i may be wrong...but seems pretty obvious on the chart to me that its SOOO linear with a t78. Shouldnt it be fairly low at slower speeds and once the boost comes online(around 4k ish id assume with a t78) there should be a noticable jump to start making the bigger power. It seems like its never getting full boost...

what is the way to tell if the wastegate is stuck open?

my gauge is showing 15psi but its coming from the bov T fitting and i guess there could be a leak somewhere after that...

yeah, i figured as much seeing how the wastegate dumps excess exhaust before the turbo but i wasnt sure of symptoms of a stuck one...

i would do a vac test, but were in a tropical storm right now.
