By myself, runs great.
I put all that information in there for anyone looking to build a single turbo. Feel free to ask me questions about building or tuning a car. I did not rebuild my engine.
Things to keep in mind when building.
If building your fuel system yourself, get a laundry list of components needed. Match your injector height with the stand offs for your FFE rails so no spacers are needed (I think I have 34MM?). Overbuild your fuel system, it's not much more to do it right. 550CC primary injectors or 650CC are preferred with PowerFC, because the Ms on-time limitations. do not need to use negative injector lag, easy to trim fuel and straight forwward, easy to tune idle, etc. When rewiring directly to battery for fuel pump, keep in mind the pump is going 100%, this means when driving over very long trips the fuel heats up from the engine, and the idle likes to bounce a little when the fuel is very hot. I think its a bit better with the two speed stock approach, but old wires.
Car pulls strong all through engine RPM, I don't see any limitations for the boost I am running. I tuned to 17PSI, 6000FT, 14PSI sea level. Guessing around 400WHP or something based off how much fuel I use. Car boosts early, probably 2000RPM's start to spool if you want, then builds through out the rpm band.
Fit wheels with a slight stretch, section width is 10.7" on a 265 wide tire, width of wheels is 11". handling is great. seems nuetral between understeer and oversteer.
Hawk HPS brakes are worthless when doing 140MPH runs. EBC yellowstuff pads are ok. I had the bluestuff pads in the front and yellowstuff in the rear (and redstuff) and the brake bias was off, car was skiddish in low 100MPH braking and up. Make sure to match your brake pad coefficient of friction. Would think a 99 spec brake upgrade would be worth it.
I think aero is needed when going over 150MPH. car starts to become a little unstable, added rake and it helped a lot.
I would go with 18x10.5 wheels and 285/30/18 wheels and modify the front fenders if I could do it again. better handling, shorter tire which has better gearing and more room for turning in the front wheels. (I get a little rub in the front at full steering lock) (might upgrade to this).
Stock brake system when speeds increase is not adequate, I think the best route is the 99 spec upgrade. thicker rotors in the front (32MM vrs. 22mm, 314MM vrs. 294mm diameter), same brake bias, OEM quality. can get 2 piece project mu rotors for lighter, stronger materials but cost $$. will eventually upgrade to this.
Special Thanks to Speedjunkie. Guy is a beast and knows how to install.

lance880, I am planning to have a very similar setup to what you have.
May I ask if you are happy with what you are currently running, in terms of response and horse power? Also, at 7psi I would assume you are running the stock fuel setup, which I also plan to use. Any problems with the afr becoming lean? I am wondering whether keeping the stock fuel system with a single turbo setup is a risk or not..
I currently have:
Apexi PFC
Aftermarket intercooler
Aluminium radiator
twin OEM oil coolers
aluminium AST
3.5 exhaust straight-through with a muffler
To be installed soon:
Garrett GT35r, T4 divided 1.06a/r
greddy style manifold
Tial 44mm wastegate
EVC-5 boost controller
smaller size water pulley for more flow of coolant
custom made downpipe
Any info would be appreciated.

Fresh rebuilt s4/5 motor in an '85 s3. Large extend port. Studded, balanced and side clearanced s5 rotors, 2mm Unbreakable seals, near mint housings, resurfaced and nitrided plates.
Turblown TDX61 on custom 1/2" steampipe manifold, twin turbosmart 40mm gates, 3" zorst all the way through.
Still running old mtx8 with old tune, 550+1600 injectors, std fuel rail and bosch 044 for run-in, wil be upgrading all that shortly after run-in.
Fuel pressure, AFRs, and EGTs all safe. Getting rock solid 7psi straight off the 7psi wastegate springs from 3000rpm to redline, no boost control, seems to be coming on lower as the seals bed in!

510whp @10psi (clutch is slipping right now)
Engine easily makes 640whp @16psi and we are tuned to 21psi but our clutch, transmission, diff and axles said no a couple times at a few competitions already. Keeping low boost so the drivetrain will live. water temps stay cool all day around 86c-95c air temps are usually 30c-50c depending on track conditions. many of you will ask why bridgeport? Because it makes more power at less boost= less stress on the block, we can race/drift all day and the engine remains cold and hardly feeling any stress while still making at least 510whp at only merely 10 pounds of boost Port timming , tuning and turbo sizing is key..
looking forward to next season representing the rotarys vs v8s as always!

I think your full of it man! Maybe a 20b with a massive Borg Warner s400 turbo would get close to those numbers. Let me see the dyno sheet also what turbo are you using? This why people from California annoy me with there ignorance!

okay well here it is
This is what a dyno graph looks like if the clutch slipping only 10-11psi ( Gate spring) .... Its actually making way more hp at that boost... Engine runs cold all day making good hp, and we are not behind on hp against competitors in fd pro am... This was almost 1 1/2 years ago, the car is even faster now, but I am in need of a new clutch before the next dyno sesh...
Well since Im here Il share some customer's dyno sheets we have dyno tuned... if anyone needs a tune in socal area hit me up...

I'm waiting on the Adaptronic to come in for street and dyno tune with final numbers on 91 and e85. Other than that, I really love the response and power with this setup. It's definitely more than my 99 twins that made 350ish whp but I did lose some low end which was expected.
