There is no ID plate to say its garret or hks..
it only says GARRET on the rear housing

i was told its a hks kit as i bought it from a bloke selling it as a kit (the gate and manifold are hks , no doubt)
the turbo is playn my mind .. need to see pics of a real t04s from hks

I thought HKS had the "HKS" cast into the cold side housing? Not sure...

If the Compressor & Turbine blades are the same size as an HKS "To4S", then what's the problem? I don't think you would see a difference in performance between the two.

Garrett makes HKS's turbos. So if it's the same spec, the HKS cast into the housings wouldn't make it any more powerful. For whats its worth, all the HKS turbo's I've seen have HKS cast into the housings both comp and turbine. Furthermore, I doubt HKS would sell a non divided manifold with a divided housing. So no, I'd say NO its not a HKS kit due to this and lack of badges, but it will work just fine because it is indeed a T04S in that it has a Garrett T04s compressor housing and it is a 60-1 comp wheel. Although the non divided mani with divided turbine will work, its not optimal and would think of getting a non divided turbine for it. Your choices would be .81 or .96.
