Pictures of rear mounted turbo ..
If that **** works which by the way it should although it it won't be the most efficient way to do it would be pretty dam amazing!

LT1 eh..... sounds familiar. I know of a company here in UT that speciallizes in this. Their "show-off" car is an LT1 Z28, painted really dark purple. Lol, what a joke.... the thing does mid 12's, running 9 lbs of boost on a good day. The idea is that by placing the turbo in the back, you get a colder intake charge to start, and you don't need an intercooler, because the pipe from the compressor to the intake is long enough to cool down the charge. My buddies just laugh when they see it, and spew out comments about how he's got his turbo up his ***.
My friend in a 02' Stratus R/T NA schooled a Tacoma running 10lbs using the same setup. Pathetic......

Been around the world, and I thought I had seen it all... and then I checked the Forum.... Nope!
There definitely are stranger things in Heaven and Earth (and the Internet) than even my vivid imagination can craft.
So where's the blow-off? In one of the wheels?

Did I not say its slow....... I've seen it in person. They call it the purple people eater, and Honestly I think the same engine with the proper exhaust, intake, cams and a bit of head work could be just as fast.
Oh BTW, they blew the engine on it a week or two ago.... so I guess the whole - not needing a intercooler cause the pipes are long enough to disipate heat - crap, turned out to be just that, crap!! Lol

Second that opinion
I also live in that area and have hung out with the owner of the car (Brandon) and I will second fatboy's comments that it is painfully slow for an FI LT1. He was in the high 13 second territory before he blew his motor.
In my Stratus R/T, I beat (badly) a TRD Tacoma with the same setup as the Camaro. There is just no exhaust energy by the time it gets to the rear of the car/truck. While there may be some merit to the idea, there is a reason why no one else has done this

yep, that's what he needs to do. that way he can have all the weight over the rear axle to help improve traction he so desperately needs to go along with that HUGE 14mph increase
