Thats not a Turbo, Now thats a turbo..(in my best croc dundee voice)
I just drove Chris Ng's 10AE with a similar setup.. the 89+ wastegate works way better than the pre89 gate, also the sound of the exhaust changed quite a bit..
It definetly is faster with the 89+ hybrid in it, but it doesn't seem to have the down low hard pull of the stock 88 turbo for some reason, yet the car revs way quicker.. I think the stock exhaust side still corks up the motor pretty good, and it may actually be a real power killer when combined with the larger compressor side, almost like upgrading makes the exhaust bottle neck worse.. It almost seemed to me like the car gained up top only what it lost down low, which would make the car minutely quicker.. OR maybe I am just talking out my ***, I dunno... other theories?? Max

I was going for moderate power, ease of install, and above all reasonably priced... I couldn't buy a turbo manifold and a wastegate for what I paid for this
