was wondering on my wastegates there are two ports for vacumn,i have seen a lot of people not using the top ports of their gates,i am using an electronic boost controller Apexi AVCR and want to know if i should use the top vacumn port on the wastegate or not.

 

If you use an electronic boost controller then you'll need to use the top port.

 

use the top one. I have the avcr and hks gate and use the top one.

 

So i have to use both top and bottom,so how do i hook it up to the wastegate,which line goes to the top and which goes to the bottom.

 

The top one will go to the boost controller, and the one on the side goes to both the boost controller and a non vacuum boost source, usually a nipple on the compressor outlet for most turbo setups.
