PFSupercars here I come!!!

I am leaving at 7:00am EST to trailer the FD to PFSupercars for Ray Wilson to adjust my idle with those 1000cc primaries and hook me up with a nice break-in tune. For those of you who don't know, I bought my FD back in December of 2004 with a basically stock popped motor and automatic, and I have still yet to drive it. Now it is rebuilt with a single turbo and it's manual. I am just really excited to have something worthy to call a car again. I have been driving around a 1993 Honda Accord with no A/C, 295,000 miles, and it almost overheats on me everyday. It has been sucking, but soon I will have my car back and broken in, and it will be going right back to PFSupercars, or to Steve Kan for a power tune. Wish me a safe trip everyone please. Thanks

Dee

Talking

I'm surprised you were able to get Ray or someone on the phone long enough to make an appointment. Seriously though you will be happy. Ray has an awesome set of tools, he can fix anything. I would bet that ray is going to want you to swap to some smaller primary injectors though. We were not able to get my 720cc primaries to idle smoothly using higher resolution AEM. I don't see how you could expect much better out of an even larger injector using the PFC. Why are you using 1000cc primaries anyway, are you trying to launch a rocket to the moon?
Keep us posted how it goes and tell that **** to call Fd3BOOST before he goes postal on his ***.

j/k I'll be up there Tuesday after labor day Ray.

Well, I told him that I am not expecting the best street driveability out of the car. I am not expecting great idle, and I don't mind it idleing a little on the high side. He said that it shouldn't be a problem. Let's hope not at least.

When I was using those large primaries there was just a dead spot in the idle. Other than that it was not bad.

Cool, thanks. I might eventually go with smaller primaries, but for now that is what my fuel kit came with, so I cannot really spend anymore money right now. I need to make those work.

You could easily sell them and use your stock 550's. That is what we did with mine. Using 1680cc secondaries and not even coming close to maxing the duty cycle.

Well, he didn't say too much today about those 1000cc's. So, I assume he can make it work good enough. We'll see. Hopefully the car will not be there terribly long. He only has about 4 hours worth of work to do to it.

I "want" to make 550-600rwhp on race gas when it's all said and done. I don't know if it can do it or not though. And, I'm hoping for 450-500rwhp on pump 93 gas.

Are you running one or two fuel pumps, to get to 550-600 you will need two. I run 1000 primary and 1600 secondary with dual 280 lph pumps

I'm running one Nippondenso right now, but when I go back for the power tune, I will probably have him put in another one. You running the Power FC too? Please say yes.

I'm really having a tough time getting over the fact that PFSupercars is in the middle of a bunch of fields and farms. I just knew that I was in the wrong place. I thought I had typed in the wrong address on Mapquest. HAHA. But, it was a very nice place and I recommend everyone that needs good service and work done, take it to PFSupercars. I felt very much at home there. All of the guys there were very easy to get along with.

iceman4357: Thanks man. Good luck on yours as well.

BLitzed33: Crap, I was hoping you had a Power FC as well. I am hoping he can do similar HP figures as yours with my Power FC. I would love to have the Tec3R, but when I was buying all of my parts a year and a half ago, I thought the Power FC was the best because I was clueless.

You should make good numbers esp. with C16 and high boost. Hopefully it will be higher very soon, we are going to turn the boost up to 30 lbs with the stiffer spring and hopefully make 600 whp...

We'll see man. I have to get the car back and break it in first, then get my boost controller hooked up and take it back to see what she'll do. I'll definately let you know.

I'm guessing that your numbers are on c16 correct? What kind of power did you put down on pump gas and what psi? Good luck on the 600whp! When are you taking the car back to Ray?
