Ernie, anyway to confirm which GT42R you have?
Could be:
-70.3mm inducer w/ 94mm exducer or 74.3mm inducer w/102mm exducer.

Judging by some old pics you posted it looks like a 74mm inducer......but hard to confirm.

i believe on compressor wheels they always round it up if its larger than a whole number(like 70.3 rounds to 71mm).

I just read thru the threrad again and have a question.. You already said no water/meth but what about Nitrous? A friend of mine is convinced that nitrous was used (even in a small amount) to help motivate your turbo...

There should be no reason to need nitrous on his setup. Wether he is or not I don't know but that turbo when setup correctly will run around the response he is seeing. Depending on the compressor used along with turbine A/r and a few other things you will see pretty decent response ranging anywhere from 3900-4500RPM. I believe he is seeing pretty close to that.

Time to throw on a GT45r and break 800? Hehe, thats sick man. Gives me hope though, my insanely ported engine might break 650 on the KAI. Don't get me started, more money to throw into the FD to make it a 700hp car... damn you and making me want to do things I shouldn't!

It's nice though..

Your friend was wrong. If I used Nitrious, my torque would be even higher.

I agree, you can do 9's if you're a decent driver at 600hp. 711, that would make you an 8 granted you can keep traction! =)
