Who did the welding on the turbo elbow? What turbo manifold is that?

PFS did the work. I assume either Jason or maybe Ray welded it up. The manifold is from a Greddy T88 kit. So Greddy or Trust, whichever you prefer.

Thanks for the info, I need a new welder; "my" welder jacked his prices up, he charged me $95 an hour on the last job

You undo the clamps and couplers like normal. Clean your spectales out.

Well sorry to be a tease but it was not in the cards for the dyno today. I spent a few hours over at the shop and it was a busy day. I'll post something as soon as I get it.

I'm surprised there was not more comments.

Why did you chose that turbo?

This motor has been asking for some serious boost for awhile, glad things are starting to pick up!

Good luck on the dyno.

Good luck on the dyno Dave....I'll have to check out the setup in person sometime soon. I was down in your area a few days ago actually.

I just went with the GR67 kit, i'm curious to see how it fairs compared to your setup.

Car looks good duuuuuuude.

Thanks for the feed back. It sucks to post a thread and no one replies. Dohh.

Dan I guess your kit is using the same turbo just with that diffe manifold and the dual wastegates?

So by that logic we should pretty much just shut down the forum because there is really no one anywhere here on the forum re-inventing the wheel.

Thanks I will enjoy it.

Same turbo except I am running a 1.0 hot side, and yes it's a different manifold with dual wastegates.

as for Kyro-2...some people just aren't enthusiasts as much as we are.

When do yo plan on getting that turbo tuned and what not? I would definitely be interested in comparing the dyno sheets. You have a ported engine? Exhaust and intakes?

Congrats Dave! Can't wait to see they dyno results as well.

I am, however, kinda disappointed in the turbo - it's not polished!! I think it's puttin a hurtin on your engine bay man. Bling that badboy up!

I just posted a thread about header wrap and then looked at your pics. We have the same manifold. I see you wrapped your header, but not your down pipe. The DP seems like a no brainer to me... wrap that rascal!

I have no expectaions. Some where over 400 is about all I expect. Will most likely start at 15psi and see how that feels and go from there.

Maybe it was on your car Ernie???

Dave, the map is already in the PFC so it's basically tuned. I just gotta stick it on the dyno and make sure the A/Fs are cool. The engine is a large street port, and the manifolds are port matched....I guess thats what you meant about the intakes. My exhaust is ported too, whatever that means haha

Yea I was wondering if you had the intake & exhaust ports on the engine ported. I did port both sides on mine. I know Ernie is getting a new motor because his reactive one was *** backwards and had the hot side ported but not the intake side.
In anycase sounds good. When did you think you will get it on a dyno?
