PFC harrness removed connectors
PFC harrness removed connectors
I am sick of looking at all those conectors that have no purpose any more because i went single and am using a PFC. I wanted to know if i could cut the sheild off the harrness and take out all those wire to the solenoids, WG and PC solenoids, and all that other crap i dont need. I would Cut it where it the wire connects to the ECU and just take the whole wire and connector out is there a prolem with doing this? thanks

There was a website about doing this that i saw a while ago but cant seem to find. I was going to do that but after having one hell of a time stripping 6 inches of a 90k harness i just ended up cutting off the ends and coving the exposed wire. But if you do it good luck and do a write up. I might try it again here pretty soon.

See i was told not to just cut the connectors off not sure why but i remember see it some where. I read the thread about the solenoids and what ones to keep but i have so much **** that makes it very unclean! ANyone else?
marc, just unwrap the whole harness and start taking out what you don't need
what's there a question about?
As far as I know, the PFC doesn't really give a **** what you do or don't have connected as long as it isn't serving a obvious/necessary purpose....i.e. injectors, temp sensors, crank angle, etc etc (correct me if i'm wrong).
