PFC or Haltech
I am getting fuel rail with 1600`s to supply a single turbo. My ? is that I have bought a PFC before i was going to the single, should I go with the Haltech or the New AEM, or stick with the PFC. Are the 1600`s hard to tune on the PFC?

if you go to k2rd.com they have a kit where you can just plug in the haltec without any wiring... kinda like the pfc... and it doesnt care what kind of injectors you have high or low impedance 1cc-1600cc

i go with the Haltech. from what i know is that PFC does not have maps for 1600cc injectors and the max boost is around 17psi. Anything more will require you to change the map sensors.

With the Power FC you could run 1600cc. As for the AEM, I thought that this unit wasn't available yet. As for the Haltech it's pretty expensive to install, $700-800 and this is without tuning. Also, you might want to consider sending out your PFC to XS to have them tune it for you.

The PFC is a total POS.....I know more than 10 people that have blown their motors due to the faulty timing issue's with the Power Fc. I would go with a proven system like the Haltech or Motec. The AEM hasn't even been installed on any car yet so to say AEM is the the only choice is plain assinine.

There is a new plug and play harness for the Haltech, has anyone used this harness, and is it that much easier? Who could you send the Haltech for tuning?
Thanks

If it's just PFC vs Haltech, I would get the haltech. Reasons:
laptop tuning much much easier then commander and able to access all parameters.
Data logging
Ease of install with K2rd's harness.
I don't mind premixing because I am doing it now.

Bucrx7,
With the FC-Datalogit (<$300, now shipping) you get all those things with the PFC. Laptop, logging, access to all params (incl larger secondary injectors), ease of install, no premix, and support from others on maps, etc.
Granted, there are only a few Datalogits out there so far, so some of the features, such as logging wideband and other inputs are still being proven.
All this is from what I've read, not experience personally - so please do your homework.
