Peripal Ported 13 b whit Turbo and 32mm restrictor???
we consider to try to buil a pp 13b whit a turbo
but we need to use a 36mm restictor and the opening to the turbine has to be max 32 mm ( for 5mm at least)
this above to make the engine to fit into the rules of the racing class we might going to compete in...
the question is
anyone have any idea if this restctor is big anuff to deliver anuff air to the engine??
what kinda power can we aspect to get out of it??
today we get aprox 330 bhp from a NA PP 13b
if we build it we will race against volvo 3l evo engines
we are also building a 20b pp Na engine
for the 04 racing sesoson
if any of you could help us out whit the turbo
questions we would be very gratefull

This might sound crazy, but if you have the option, don't run a turbo at all. Assuming that you only need the restrictor for a turbocharged engine, I don't know your class rules. In the US, if there is a restrictor, only turbocharged cars require a restrictor.
A peripheral port 13B with no turbo should make more power than any engine with a 32mm restrictor.

Hi,
My workshop has a P Port 13Bt with 51mm Port and running a 0.70A/R ball bearing turbo from Australia. And they are in the midst of buliding a P Port NA 20B at the moment Will keep you updated

if you put turbo on then u have to race in the big class
( supernational 3 ) on a 13b whit no turbo the car goes
into supernational 2 ( up to 2000 ccm.. but the wankel has a factor of 1,5 )
re 20b we have built one NA and PP
right now we are rebuilding the ingition picup sensor
we are moving it back to the flyweel..
this is a video of braking of 20b we are building
to put in a rx7
that will compete in supernational 3 in Norway
