Options for GT35 re-seal?
Hey all. I've got a gt35 500r turbo that is spewing oil out of the compressor. I am looking for suggestions on where to go from here. I have not opened up this turbo, or any others before to work on them. Is it common to DIY fix simple issues? The turbo does not have much time on it (3k miles or so), but is about 6 years old. I expect the majority of things to be in great shape, the shaft has no end play, does not show damage on wheels or any signs of bending, etc., just a leak.
I have been trying to reach a-spec for ideas (where turbo was purchased) with no luck yet. Not sure where else to look. I have read that garrett does not sell rebuild kits or parts for the GT35 turbos, which makes me wonder why. any help is appreciated.
I will also look into upgrading my crankcase ventilation. There is a lot of good information I find here that I had not considered. However I do not believe that this is the only reason my turbo leaks. It does not seem to matter what condition the car is running (rpms, or charge pipes on or off), it is a pretty constant leak. cheers.

It does have a restrictor on the inlet, although I am not sure of the size. It has been too long since I installed the kit. I believe the restrictor came with the a-spec kit. Is there a common size that limits oil press. to 60 or so? I could measure mine and compare.
