Old school SR KKK stage 2 turbo tuned by PFS

After 7 years of hibernation, I finally decided to get my car running again. Motor was large street ported and the turbo kit was installed by Ray @ PFS back in 2002. I think I put on less than 800 miles on the engine before I put it away.

Nehow, all the supporting mods were installed back then, and Ray just added AEM meth kit, AEM A/F wide band, additional supra fuel pump, and some suspension parts. I'm running TEC3

@ 14PSI - 396whp
@ 19PSI - 460whp

Pretty good for an old turbo i think I'm going to get used to this set up first then it's back to PFS for different turbo setup !

Big Ups to Ray Wilson @PFS for staying til late tuning and fixing up issues !! I didn't take a picture of the dyno number as it was located pretty high and I didn't want to bother Ray while he was doing his magic. Here's a picture of Ray doing what he does best !!

HX35 isnt it? T3 12cm turbine side or? Not an old turbo, more modern than 90% of common Garrett ones.

Good numbers if it is a T3 HX35!

I'm not too sure about the model number or the dimension as it's been a longggg time. All I know is that I bought the kit back in 2001 from SR

I ran the same turbo on my red fd back in the day with stock ignition, stock fuel lines, stock primary injector and stock motor. Went 10.70's all day. No complaints. Just make sure you run a restricter in the oil feed. Ray Lochead (SR Motorsports) never told me that even after the oil seals went after 6months.
Those are damn good numbers for a turbo that small.

So what actually is it? A 12cm T3 HX35, or? 7or8 blade compressor?

Yeah I bought the kit after seeing you run 10's in stock internal. At this point, I'm just waiting on Ray to write me an estimate for my engine work (full bridge port/pin...etc) So we'll see how much more power this turbo can handle before I change it to something bigger.

Is it me or does Ray looks like a mad scientist when he is tuning ? lol j/k I didn't want to bother him because he looked so serious. But all in all, hes the man when it comes to building/tuning

Yeah, Ray is one of the best, and one of the only people I'd trust tuning my car. I've got to get down there and see the new shop, looks nice and clean based on the pic you posted.

Congrats on the good numbers!!
