Chronos - Motor is in! Love it! Very strong! No dyno pulls yet, but I did take it down the track a few times shortly after it was broken in. Was on street tires because I was afriad of breaking something in the rear end so my ET's sucked, but I managed a 124Mph trap W nly 15.5psi. Push those numbers though a 1/4 trap to rwhp caclulator and I'm easily putting down 450rwhp @ 15.5psi...

I bumped the boost up to 17psi that day at the track to try for a 128Mph or so trap and smoked my ACT S/S clutch.

I'll definately be getting it on the dyno here in the next month or two, have some fuel related challenges to resolve first so I can make some 20+psi boost runs when I do get to the dyno ...

You can search around, I've done quite a bit of talking about the new motor and turbo setup...I'm suprised people have asked me to shut up already...

Kyle has already felt the power of the T-78.
Once my car is backup we will do some tests between the T-78 and the GT35/40. My T-78 is upgraded.

Jason, what exactly did you upgrade on the T78? Did you do something similar to my setup? Just curious....

Well let me know what sort of numbers you come up with using this beast...You have a ported engine, correct? I'll have my maps sorted here shortly (getting very close to where I want to be and I'll forward them to Tony.

My Pineapple mild street port has a bit of lope, but it isn't all that bad, and I'm not completely convinced that I don't have other issues involved with that. Should get me closer to my 400rwhp mark w/ the RX6 though.

As expected, the idle was VERY rough when I started the engine for the first time. Now that it is broken in, simply sounds mean as hell...

Need to get some new video footage of it shot and uploaded. @ WOT it sounds like any other open exhaust FD.

I posted a 1/4 mile pass on the new engine and exhaust...if you haven't seen it, let me know and I'll repost in this thread.

Here is a short clip back when I was still only running 10psi of boost...my car "squatting" when I punched it.

Just to descibe that squat from the driver's or passenger seat perspective: "...it makes your butt checks clench up in fear."

I usually end up hearing a "SHEEET" along with it, usually an echo of my own voice. Not in my car, mind you, but Nocab's, Rmagic's, and Jason's. When these cars are tuned, the squat is ON!

I have a new term for it. Instead of SPOT-ON TUNING, it's SQUAT-ON TUNING!
