No Boost Under WOT

Hey guys heres my problem, about 2 weeks ago I threw my alt belt off my stock 1990 T11,and like an idiot I didn't notice till the car was overheated,so after much cursing and a little crying,I put a new belt on.It has ran good for the last two weeks,no problems starting cold or hot, still pulls hard. But yesterday and today I notice that on my stock boost gauge I can't build any boost, its still running great but no boost,I'm wondering if something else could be my problem?(besides melted apex seals)Maybe a vaccum line or something?Any help as to where to start or look would be gretly appreciated.Thanx Chad

Boost leak or wastegate stuck open would be the first thing to check.

If you're running a stock or chip ecu it prolly be stuck wastegate.

Ok thanx for the resopnses, funny when I was coming home today after work it built boost and ran just like it should,so I guess I'll have to check the wastegate, but do I run the risk of damaging anything driving it with a stuck wastegate?Thanx Chad

I say to put a real gauge on it and see what it is actually doing...
the stock gauge is not 100% reliable nor acurate.

As said, don't use the stock boost gauge. It is the least accurate of all the stock gauges, and is as old as teh car.

Check for: Blown couplers. Holes in TMIC. Vac leaks etc. You can do a boost leak test, that will give you an answer there. Just need to pressurize the intake system and listen for leaks.

And absolutely you run a huge risk of damaging the car with a stuck wastegate. If its stuck OPEN, you won't make any boost and you'll be fine, but if it sticks closed - kiss that thing good bye. Figure this problem out before you go throttling it around down here
