I installed a single turbo kit I purchased on e-bay. The engine runs normally up to approximatelly 4000 rpm, but will not boost at all. It starts to run very rich, looses power ,etc. The wastegate is closed, and I have the boost sensor connected. The double throttle valves are connected. The compressor side of the turbo seems to blow an adequate volumn of air, but I can stop flow easily with my hand. I have a modified ecu by pettit and a protec-B boost contoller. I removed the rats nest while installing. There is a fairly small exhaust leak between turbo and downpipe that I cannot stop due to fitting problems. No exhausts leaks before turbo. Any advise or suggestions please!! THANKS

 

What brand kit is it? xs power? If so, my advice is to remove that piece of **** turbo before you hurt your motor.

What happens after 4000 rpm? car falls flat on it's face?

 

It is a generic individual made kit. Yes it falls flat on its face.
