The new Precision 46mm wastegate looks good!

Tial can't be too happy about this. They're cheaper and even bolt up to the Tial flange! They also come with 5 springs.

Small inner "Natural" color = 1.5 psi
Medium outer "Yellow" color = 3 psi
Medium outer "Red" color = 6 psi
Large outer "Green" color = 9 psi
Large outer "Blue" color = 18psi

Here's some more information with pictures for you. Precisions always made good products but anything new always has the test of time. What do you guys think? I know I can't wait for mine to get here...

I've had a few. I like that they come with more springs, and are slightly more compact. If I remember when I compared the two side by side the discharge outlet on the TiAL was slightly larger, and it even looks so by those pics as well. If you can save some money and get extra springs that's not a bad thing. As far as performance I'm not so sure one would outperform the other.

That's my thoughts exactly Sean. The 2mm difference would be "negligible." The only real reason I'm buying this is the same reason anyone else would; cheaper and it comes with the springs. That's strange that the outlet's a little smaller...

Tial's new MVR 44mm are very nice.. I believe they will be cheaper too..

I have heard the precision gates will wear. I was also told they are made in china.

Enzo, when does the new Tial 44 come out? I searched but came up with nothing. My Precision order is "pending" so I guess I still have time...

They were on display at PRI. Should be available by the end of the year.

BTW. I would always order my Tial gates with the largest spring pressure available. This way I would get multiple springs and have some different psi settings to play with.
