New PFS build
Well, Ray finished her up Friday. I didn't get to stick around to see her get tuned, but I still need to break her in. So, the number aren't important right now anyway. But I was glad to be there for the first start. I was blown away by how much louder she was. Here are a few pics. I took some video, but can't seem to download it from my phone.

186 miles down, 814 to go. Damn it's hard to stay below 4500rpm. I feel like a reformed crackhead walking down north ave. It's sooooo tempting to put my foot to the floor but I know it will be worth the wait.

About 1 1/2 mo. Good work takes time and it's never wise to rush a craftsman. ray knew that I wanted it to be a beast, but also wanted it to be a thing of beauty. Not only is he the Einstein of the tuning world, but he's also a phenomenal fabricator (and that's saying something coming from a guy who designs and builds custom cabinetry for a living). Ray, if you're out there my friend, hats off to ya!!!

It was at the shop for a bit longer, but once he got into it it went pretty fast. It's never an all day everyday thing. He had guy's come in for tuning, down time waiting on materials, the normal kind of **** that delays a project. Nothing that's not to be expected from a major build.

Be patient. And keep in touch with him. I think he's starting to get caught up. I also own a small business that is specialized, and understand his problems. You'll be happy at the end.

I'm not tryng to be nostalgic or anything, but I really think that Ray having brought PFS back to the forefront of the Rotary community, is a truly great thing. A lot of the older guys on here had nothing but PFS parts on their cars. Hell a buddy of mine still runs the catback. Many of the parts still float around here, and are on loads of cars. Congrats to Ray and the new staff at PFS. Keep up the good work, and as soon as I win the lottery, I.'ll bring you my car. Awesome car man. As are all the cars I've seen come out of there recently.
