New Gt35R Turbo Combination

Hopefully be testing this unit out soon; BB Gt35R mated to a StageV Turbine wheel in a 1.0 Divided T4 Turbine Housing. From what I'm being told this is the first unit of its kinda, specifically the turbine housing combination; stageV(s) have never been available from Garrett in a T4 turbine housing. I believe Precision has offered this before, but it was an open volute housing. Its also features a cool seamless machined turbine discharge. It has a centering inner ring that should help prevent leaks.

Stage 5 Turbine:

Wheel Style = T350

Wheel inducer = 2.795"

Wheel exducer = 2.437"

Wheel trim = 76

For reference, here's a P-Trim:

Inducer diam. = 2.922"

Exducer Diam. = 2.544"

It's still smaller then a Standard P-Trim, but its a newer design and should be more efficient for its size. I haven't looked at any flow maps yet.

Another to compare with would be the GT35 HTA from forced performance. I talked to precision and they won't rebuild a p-trim with the 62 billet front side, too bad.

Hard to make a decision on the new garrett 35r hta and a precision billet62/65 either of them I will go w/ a T4 1.0 divided. I guess if precision wont rebuild the garettt might be a better option.

Please do from the dyno's I've seen on those piston cars both of these compressors look to be hot tickets.

Have them rebuild it with the billet 67mm compressor. I believe they wont do the 62 is because the shaft is too small, but dont quote me on that.

They wont do the billet on anything but their turbine wheels, so no go on a 67 billet with the P-trim.

We ran the stage 5 wheel here on our little honda last season it performed pretty well. If I had to do it again it would be the 62/62. Wait we just got a 67 billet so scratch that

Maybe you just dont ask them nicely! Ask them about the 35R modified with a billet 62mm compressor Dont forget, they also have GT42R with 71 and 76mm billet compressors.
