Smile New GT series turbo on the way!!!!

I've got a Precision turbo GT on the way!!!!! It's a Garrett GT for those that don't know with Harry's little spin on things. It should be a nasty little(i mean big) beast The car's almost completely finished and on the dyno......there's just been so many damn things going on in the auto world lately it's hard to get the time to finish it.

I'm going to dyno with the T88 and the get the tune right then do some testing between the 2 and show the results. It should be very interesting to say the least. Harry says the T88 is one of the best turbo's ever produced but the new GT series can do even better. I'm soooooo excited to see what it can do!

It's a pretty good size one.......with some special sauce

680rwhp12a: He won't give me the exact specs yet......but says that it'll be nasty It's somewhere around an 80mm......that's all i know for now Or that i'll say without more info.

Greg: Harry is a really cool guy! I was totally suprised at how easy he is to talk to.....even about really technical inside stuff. I haven't met Paul yet.....if he works for Harry i'm sure he can't be all that bad.

Resource: thanks for reminding me I've had it done about 10x.....but then i've taken it back apart to make some changes. You have to remember that almost everything on the car is custom. Suspension,PPF,tranny ......i think everyone will understand more when they see it in person. Those who have were quite shocked to say the least. I've also been building my girls car and the AE86 and messing with new parts for the business.

Hey silvr94r2 have you heard anything about legalization in nevada? I remember hearing that the right people had to be elected and it was going to be set for 2003. Sorry to ask you, but I figured you might know.

Milkman: From the people that i've talked to it was a done deal......you're talking about the 3oz. law right? If not, then i have no clue what your talking about.

I just got really really bad news back from extrudehone about my turbo. It seems that they not only recieved it with a pretty good size dent but they've somehow destroyed my compressor housing Gee, i don't think that's a costly mistake or anything. I just don't seem to have any luck with my car. They're faxing me a pic to see the damage and see what i want to do. I don't think you can buy just a Greddy T88 housing anywhere......does anyone know if you can? Looks like all my extrudehone work just got done for free along with everything else that i was thinking about doing through them.

fdracer: I've got a PT88 sitting down on my car right now just for ***** and giggles. It's so frickin big! I'm not 100% sure on the dual BB thing yet. I don't think many "have" been.......but the future holds some interesting things for sure

I can let you guys know that my turbo is called the GT-R. Have you heard of that one before? If not.....then you will over the next year. I can promise you that It's the one many many people will be running in the near future. There are also some big name Supra guys already drooling over this puppy

Are you sure about this? I didn't know that......i've just started dealing with them about 6mos. ago. All i know is that he is for sure Garrett's golden boy. He will get all the new turbo's by them before anyone else by a long shot. The new GT-R i'm talking about isn't even gonna be available until middle of next year. It's supposed to retail for around $2k. I found out that it's a 76mm with dual BB and it's very very nasty I'm a dealer for them so i should be able to do quite a bit better.
