Need help identifying this turbo

Friend got this turbo for a V6 project and I have been thinking of using it. Might get some help from Sean/Steve at A-Spec for a custom mani.

He was told it's a Greddy T-78/34D.
Only numbers are:
Greddy plate: no type, serial #d31520, no part #, mfd # 49175-00690, Trust Co LTD Japan. That's all on the plate.

Center Sec: "F" on 1 side and "9" and "409" on the other.

Inside the divided hot side: #17

On the hot side snail: Mitsu symbol than "17 0" over 49175-1"stamped"1" than 400.

Is this just a T-78? with no mount or V-Band?

Any help is appreciated thanks, Jeff

Jeff,
Looks simply like a T78, however, that should be labled on the very top line of the tag on the comp cover. That is where it will say the model number.

As for the number in the turbine housing(hotside) that is the A/R basically, it is 17cm-squared. Greddy(mistsu) doesn't use conventional AR numbers... ie. .95 or 1.15. That is rather smaller, as they range too 22 or 24 can't remember which...

You can send the shirts "I need an XL" not my pics. They are from my friend that got the turbo.

What I don't understand is if this turbo is from a kit it has no mounting flange or V-Band for a DP. It also has no "labled on the very top line of the tag" it's blank.

Also it has a foam plug as it has never been used. Maybe some special order

I don't know if it's worth all the work to build a kit out of this or just wait a few more months for you to make me a killer deal on your kit

Did you talk with Sean about the Xcessive LIM fitment?

Later, Jeff
