We did an XS Engineering single turbo upgrade on a 3rd Gen and it has a petit racing ecu. When driven it drives like a champ @ 10psi. After shutting it off and trying to start it back up again, it goes into limp mode but does not throw any check engine lights. Once the ecu is unplugged for 10 minutes, it resets and drives great again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

it seriously sounds like a defective ECU. it happens often with chips, though. if Petit's ECU is a complete unit (not just a chip) its probably some programming error. i suggest you call Petit and tell them your problem. im sure they'll be happy to replace/refund your product (Petit's rep. IS on the line) so just give them a call. most likely, they'll just need to upgrade the programming. good luck to ya
