TN Need advice on Next Step.

I have a question about installing the engine in an FD without the turbo in place. My engine is complete minus the A-Spec turbo kit which will be here in a few weeks. I have all of the block off plates and would like to install the engine back in the car, so I can get started on wiring and plumbing issues. How difficult is it to install the turbo while the engine is in the car? Would I be better off waiting until the turbo is here? I have a car lift, so getting under the car is not a problem.

depending on the turbo, its likely easier to put it on the engine after the engine is in the car. It'll allow proper torquing of the manifold to engine, turbine to manifold etc. Not to mention sometimes its tough to shoe horn the engine in with the turbo and everything on it already - though I've done it on my FC

I'd put it all on after.

Its a GT35R kit. It looks like I will be installing the engine this weekend.

You should have no problem fitting it all in. A 35r isn't a large frame turbo....
