Need advice ASAP (PLEASE)
has anyone heard of Mindtrain exhaust? I have the chance to buy a catback exhaust for $120! The guy has the reciept that shows he paid $550 plus shipping for it, but what worries me a little is it starts at 2.5" then splits into dual 2.5". I guess i could weld up a piece of 3" (thats what the downpipe/mid will be) to the split right? I plane to run a straight pipe into this catback which has 8 yeah EIGHT built in resonators.

I've heard of Mindtrain, they used to make exhaust about 5-8 years ago. They were most popular for their downpipes and midpipes for the rx7 and they were known to be of good quality.

Fred ?? was the creator/owner of Mind Train back in the days of the FB (1st gen).
Before the internet, he had his own RX7 owners club and magazine with tuning mods info. The internet killed the club in about 1993 like it killed many other similar organizations.
He also:
(1) had one of the first turbo 1st gen cars using a Weber carb.
(2) would custom mod his products for you at an affordable price.
(3) was one of the first to offer DPs and MPs for FDs.
The early days of the rotory revolution!
