MY V-mount Precision PT67H FD turbo Build 2009-2010
So i picked up my 1993 FD in 2008 with a clean title automatic all original everything with 80,000 miles for 4800$. Got the car and found out it actually ran so i drove it for a month and really raped it as i was already wanting to do a single turbo build with a full rebuild and v-mount intercooler set up.
all the work is dont by myself and my friend who owns SMC customs (my tig welding guy). I rebuilt the block streetported it, studded the oil pan, I used rotary aviation classic apex seals as i have had experience with my own personal cars as well as customers cars that they hold to detonation very very well. I got my pedals from a buddy that was doing a ls1 swap and wanted auto pedals. i went with power fc for engine management as i got it really cheap from a good friend. -Prosport guages ( boost and wideband).
-I went with a koyo radiator brand new for a honda prelude as they are way bigger than the fd radiators. I then had it cut and rewelded to fit my car perfectly as well as making the ebay intercooler all custom as the tig welder is very handy.
-The turbo manifold i made my self using 304 SS piping bought from A-Spec tuning and mild steel flanges.
-38mm tial v-band wastegate.
-Exhaust is straight 3" with a Borla 14" oval muffler and a HKS high power cat back.
- 850 cc and 1680cc injectors
-Precision t67 turbo with the H compressor housing 3" outlet
- Dual Mocal Oil coolers with VW oil thermostat
I have tons more to do but here is what i have right now.
The Car is currently Running 23 PSI and awaiting my DEVILSOWN Water injection kit. also waiting for HKS ignition Twin power and my race spark plugs
