i am trying to figure out where i am going to stick my meth tank, has anyone stuck it where the second muffler would be? seems like there is about eneough space in there for a 3 gallon tank or so. i might have to ge creative for the filler neck but im sure i can make it work.

another question, how much clearance is there betweeen the stock heat shields and the drive shaft on a tii, do i even need them, my piping is ss304 now so its much worse at conducting heat than steel

i did get my vband clamp on... i must really suck at getting them on because my dad was able to rig something up in about 5 minutes that got it on. i think it was the ceramic coating which made things just a bit thicker that made it harder to get on

i think im going ot keep my spare for now, i still cant come up with a good way of filling the tank if i stick it where the old exhaust can used to be but im sure ill figure somethign out.

Lee, let me know when you need something for the E8 to get it going.

max power 409.2, max torque 305.7
i dont have a log of the ait but steve said that it was 75 before the ai hit, 65 after the ai hit. We had ignition issues keeping us from going higher. I will switch plugs and add a ignition amp and try again in spring

details of the meth setup are here:

on another note, the 4" exhaust is loud as hell... going to have to work on quieting it down without messing up the flow

This a Turbo II, correct? You shouldn't be having any ignition issues at all. Check and make sure Steve didn't set the dwell time to 3.5ms on the Haltech assuming you're still using it.

ya it is TII. I'll check that tomorrow. Should it be in the 4-4.5 ms range?

Set it for 4.8ms. Make sure the rest of the settings are correct. He has a tendency to set them like they're FD instead of FC. The FC's ignition can easily handle what you're throwing at it now so if you're legitimately having spark blow-out problems then it's got to be the settings in the Haltech.
