My new turbo/manifold spool characteristics

I finally got my new custom turbo setup running yesterday. It will need some final tunning but it will make nearly .8bar reving in neutral. To me that seems really good and yes I know, the characteristics underload are what really count but does anyone else see this?? I seen people brag about making 5psi with no load, but I"m double that...

Seems to me that'll kick **** on the street!

I wanna know when you hit full boost with that custom turbo! That thing sounds like it'll have one hell of an output and not much lag!

Do you have pics of the manifold?

This is the only one I have so far and it's before the W/G runners were mated. I have more pics at home which I'll try to post tonight if I have time...

I was there this weekend when we (although I was just doing bodywork) got the thing running. Not only do we have a ton of photo's, but I"ve also got video so you can see and hear (although audio isn't all that great, from a Canon S400) that beast running.

And of course, you can see it next weekend at Seven Stock!

I can make 18psi on just a free rev and about 24psi on the two step! That's with a 1.32 turbine housing without ball-bearings. It's all in the header tuning. I've seen some manifolds that barely make 1 pound of boost at redline with a much smaller turbine housing.

That's impressive... makes mine not look so special... I musta missed something in all my reading for manifold design... but this is the first manifold that I've ever designed/built so I'm still happy.

Wow18psi huh.... awesome!

I've been told from a VERY old, reliable and respected source, the 13B Turbo header length is ideally 18" and 20B 12". Obviously diameter will have an effect.

I can't wait to see the pix/video from the other day when you got the beast running. Congrats on your first header design. Laterz.
