ok at this point I'm looking at the engine bay with new intake manifold and thinking to myself, theres no way a 75mm T6 flanged turbo is fitting in there while still keeping A/C, radiator fans, and turbo air filter...

well "fit" is a subjective term.. I can tell you that the turbo is bolted to the manifold, the a/C condenser and lines are still in the car, and I have room to fit an air filter on the turbo, WITH the hood of the car unmodified and closing fully.

need to modify the ast delete tank slightly, but other than that it fits with plenty of room.....

the 5 inch v band on the back of the turbo will be replaced by a 4 inch one, freeing up some room, and alowing the downpipe to pass behind and not through the intake manifold.

once the manifold is done it will be droped off to be ceramic coated.

its getting close to firing this thing up and i'm a lil disapointed that its already snowing outside, but she'll definately be ready for spring.

Roan. Just think about this. The last FD that got this type of turbo install was also built during winter months and finally fired up when there was about a foot of snow on the ground..

It later went on and ran 9.8's.

History always repeats itself.

looking very good man, was doing a little spying when I was down getting the car tuned lol.
now that I've decided to stay with the spinning dorritos and not the ls6 swap I had planned, I know where I'm going once I decided to make the jump into the big power range.

Very nice Roan!! If your old setup made 638 HP I can only imagine with this will make with a bridge-port, new turbo etc...

So when is that private dyno session?

check your mailbox for a V.I.P. invite when you get home. IF you happen to get a pass, remember it's only good for one person....

thanks for the comments.

bewtew, I'm in the south east part of queens, getting closer to long island.
