thanks for all the compliments guys
How is the flow compared to a ground zero LIM and stock on the standard? How is fitment with large turbos (mine is pretty close to the stock LIM now)? I'm really interested in upgrading and switching to E85 this winter.

what AST/water housing is that? Is that an alternative to how I deleted my AST? (with an FC filler cap)

Everything is very tight. You have to remove/modify/fab the water neck housing so you can move the turbo forward but even then its a tight fit. The stock and GZ manifolds are much thinner then the 4 barrel style intakes. Im sure they flow much more on the top end but bottom end power is effected as well as driveability.

Thanks for the info. Sound like something better for me down the road, but not right now.

the water neck is from A spec. it came as part of my GT42R kit. and yes it does eliminate the ast.

and zinx, as anthony said, its a very tight fit with a 75mm T6 turbo. but i've seen these intakes on cars running greddy T88 kits and they fit with very minimal modification to the greedy exhaust manifold, and no mods to the downpipe.

I can't speak as to drivability or low end power yet as my car isn't done. anthony do you think the huge jump in turbo size at the same time as your intake change may be affecting your opinion on bottom end power?

i'll see how mine feels since i also had the GT42 on the car with the stock intake.

^ My car was at my dads shop which is pretty big and has a air compressor and a whole bunch of tools so working on the car was easy.
But i just moved my car home and my garage is a little smaller than yours so now i don't have the luxury of the air compressor and his tools.LOL

ok, so there comes a time in every project where you need help.. if you're smart you find help from the best. with the engine, tranny and suspension back in the car, i needed to have a new exhaust manifold built to work with my new 4 barrel intake. i would also need to modify the mil spec autronic harness for the additional injectors i'll be running.

good friend ANTHONY_NYC came by with his trailer and towed my car to enzo racing for the remainder of the build. enzo has been the man behind the laptop on this car for over 5 years now, and i've been nothing but pleased with his tuning and the mil spec harness he made for the autronic ecu. after seeing the turbo manifolds he's built for himself and his brother, it was a no brainer as to who i'd have build mine.

this past saturday Allen (13BRX3) drove up from philly and gave me a hand at enzo's shop finishing up my fuel system and some other small details under the hood.
the exhaust manifold will be fabbed up this week, and then the car will be tuned for a quick break in before hitting the dyno with some big boost. heres some phone pics of the finished fuel system.

hahahahahaaha I'm so glad I was not involved with this one.

Anthony: Hey Roan, I love the pics you posted.
Roan: Thanks man, it's coming out nice.
Anthony: My fav is the last one Enzo posted
Roan: Which one is that?
Anthony: You have to see it, go online
Roan: Just tell me, I can't go on right now
Anthony: (Laughing Hesterically at this point)
Roan: I figured something is up when Enzo sent me pic 2, pic3 pic 4 but pic 1 was missing...
Anthony: Still laughing hesterically
Roan: Is it that bad? So that's what Allen meant when he told Enzo don't post it till he gets home
Anthony: Just go online and see it
Roan: What could be so funny, what is it, just tell me?
Anthony: Roan, why even bother wearing a belt?
Roan: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

hahahahahahahaha

One more for ya Roen, it will take a little machining to work but i think "the little lathe that could" can do it fine.
