Ahh. Did at make as much of a difference as they claim?

my intention was to test both covers but as always there was no time... we had some trigger issues (my fault) that took to long time to sort out..

What boost was that on the engine dyno? Still just a large streetport? What apex seals?

I think you're going to have to shop at a diesel store to find one.

Thanks!!

nice to see you got it all back together and working smoothly.

you just need a sticker for the car to not stand in front of the turbo, small children might get sucked in..

mono4lamar 10-05-11 06:38 PM

I had a shorty implode on one of my 42r setups. Not really sure if it was a defective K&N unit or what but I think when you're dealing with a larger frame turbo you need more area when hitting 20+ psi.

RotaryEvolution 10-05-11 07:03 PM

chicken wire and a hose clamp!

well that does sound hokey, but it does work...

Peterbilt's have a formed 90 that would allow you to turn and get a filter to fit.

Where did you get it from?

indio84 03-19-12 08:05 PM

Holy crap that's big

madfd3s 03-20-12 11:11 AM

hey
i got mine made by these guys http://www.uniflow.com.au/ im pritty sure the have shops all over the world but yeh i just gave them all the measurements they made it to suit they did real nice job i can take it off and take pics of the inside if u like

RotaryEvolution 03-20-12 12:40 PM

the inside reinforcement is probably the most important, as it prevents the filter from collapsing into this black hole of a turbocharger.. you definitely don't want to run a inferior filter assembly.

tegheim 09-02-12 03:08 PM

Gustav, do you have any need? :-D
