Most HP on a GT40R

Anyone know what the most hp people are putting down with the GT40r. Tried searching but seems like nobody runs more then 20psi. Anyone break the 600 mark with one?

Yeah, I remember the discusion about his numbers and at what psi it was. But either way it was one hell of a pull.

Yeah, it was a hell of a pull, but I thought Rice summed it up best when he said this:

.....So for a full bridge port running 27+psi droping to 23psi and making 600rwhp on a dynojet on C16 its nothing miraculous at all in summary, by comparison my friend makes 578rwhp on a dyno dynamics runing 21psi droping down to 18psi on a half bridge with pump fuel and water injection...... I'll go dig up the power graph so you can compare

How much would rice's 578 dyno dynamics number be in terms of dyno jet numbers?

it would be enough for 9's.. but im going to max out that turbo too since 600hp seems to be the limit for the gt40r. Seems to choke up very easily and 25psi is not enough for me.

Im going to skip the 9's roan.. im shooting for 8.99 now or at least a 150mph trap.. hehe.. 800hp here i come. New setup already in the works..

According to the compressor map, it should still be efficient to about 30psi, at least if you have the right hotside and other aspects of your setup. But it doesn't always work out that way on rotaries.

But it is not a turbo to run 8's. You should definitely go for something bigger if that is your goal.

I think you misunderstood. The turbo im using is much much bigger ofcourse. and in the right car like a a 1900lb r100 with a gt40r making 650hp will go 8's easily.
