more power

've been a 1st gen 12a owner but just picked up an 88 n/a and the motor is in peices and figure it's the best time to make more power but need to know what the best thing i should do. I know i'll be turboing it but not sure of all what i should do. I'm looking to get 400+ maybe 500 hp

well, you should start by searching
but i'll give you a couple hints
its gunna require a full rebuild on the 13b engine
a bigger turbo
standalone
bigger injectors
FMIC
exhaust
clutch
radiator
and so much more...

maybe go check out the single turbo section and see what kind of mod's they have, and what numbers they are putting up... humbling experience.

400rwhp to 500rwhp arnt easily attainable when starting out n/a. You will need porting, reinforcement, turbo drivetrain, a large turbo, modified turbo intake manifolds, most likely turbo rotors, turbo exhaust sleeves, new exhaust, a standalone ecu, intercooler and piping, extra fuel supply(ie injectors and fuel pump), along with some other custom work. Look to spend a minimum of 4-5k if you do all the work. probably 7k+ if someone does it for you.

will i need to still port if i go buy a t2 setup? what would need done to the t2?
