Misfiring Problem

Hi everyone,

We have installed a TD06 25G Greddy turbo on a 96 RS Mazda RX7, Apexi Power FC, Sard Type RJ fuel regulator, 255lph fuel pump and grade 9 plugs. The car was running fine on 1 bar with the Power FC base map, however all of a sudden after we decided to try and set up a better map with the Dataloggit, it is misfiring on boost and drowning in fuel. It is also making a lot of black smoke especially when it idles. The ECU was reset but apparently it hasnt made any difference at all. We have changed plugs 3 times in a row, NGK Grade 9 5255 BUR9EQP, and it also has the same problem.
Does anyone know what the problem is? Could it be the engine needs a rebuild or anything or anything of this kind?

Let me know if anyone has any idea.

Thanks in advance,
Chris

try an MSD or HKS ignition amplifier, and possibly switch to a 2nd gen leading coil.
