Manifolds
My experiences...
Cast would be the most reliable.  They are typically cheaper.  The problem is it's hard to do one-off's, especially for custom installations.  You're limited to what's available to you.
Tube manifolds are a bit more efficient and lighter!  The problems is that most of the custom ones aren't built very well and easy crack and leak.  A wellbuilt unit should be made out of 321 stainless steel, which is very expensive and very hard to work with.  A properly built tube manifold usually ends up costing closer to $1,000!
