Congrats on the dyno numbers my friend. I believe once the intercooler gets replaced this HP level will be a distant memory, more HP coming soon.........

Thanks guys. The 10.7 pass was about 500 HP or a little more but had issues with boost and spool time. I might be running the car this weekend, we'll see how it goes.

Good luck Anthony. It should be quite faster now with all that power. You got any new engine pics? I'd love to see that GT42 stuffed in there.

Thanks guys. Dee, thanks for picking up each time I call I'm surprised you, Crispeed and Enzo don't block my number yet! Here are some under the hood pics. It's dirty since I didn't get a chance to clean everything yet.

hmmm.. i was thinking of upgrading from my t78 to a gt42r or just gutting the t78 and replacing it with the t88 internals. How did you like the t88?

I loved the T88 34D. If I did not damage it, I would not have switched. I think that turbo is good for 600HP. I did not like the T88 H, my friend had it and it took a bit longer to spool.

Rotors are not clearanced, black seals are 2mm 2 piece. Stock gears (4.1) and stock tranny.

I ran the car at the track last night, made 2 passes, 11.4 and 11.1, car bogged in the hole, I shifted way to low (7500) and the car was hard to control. After the car bogged it went down to 3K rpms but when the boost comes in, it comes in harder than I'm used to.

It's mounted on the bottom of the pipe going to the elbow/throttle body. It looks like a TiAL with a black head on it.

It's going to be a learning curve. You'll get it eventually. You have natural talent.
The best thing is keep going back to the track and practising.
Now hurry up and run a single digit # or else I will not answer any more of your calls.
Ok now the pressure is on.

If you don't ans your phone, I'll just surprise you at the shop like last time

Just got home from etown today and found out the issue, the clutch is slipping in 3rd and 4th when the boost comes on. I am changing the clutch this week and see what happens. The pressure plate was an 7 year old ACT when the car was silver, so I'm going to change that to the new extreme and see what happens.

Wow, you were running one of the ACT street/strip pp's? I'm not surprised it's slipping, you've *far* exceeded the torque limits of that thing

I was using the ACT Heavy Duty pressure plate, now switching to the ACT extreme. I should have known it would have slipped but since it didn't slip on the dyno, I thought it was ok. First pass at etown was 35psi, clutch started slipping. Dialed it down to 25psi and then broke the tranny when I shifted into 3rd.

Jay, I'm actually going slower lol! But that's ok, I'll be at etown this week again testing the car out with the new clutch and tranny. I'll be there every weekend until I work out the bugs.
