Drivetrain/Cluth?
Did we get an answer on the drivetrain/clutch for this? How will you harness the power?
I'm asking because my ACT Extreme is already proving inadequate, and howard coleman is recommending the Exedy hyper single and others the twin. Just wondering what is left - a powerglide? (just kidding). Guru box box, Jerico drag system, ..... what do you use here?

Compressor wheels on the 42R are 94mm and 102mm, I wouldn't call them small either. Both are pretty mutch the same as a T51 KIA and SPL, only they are both BB, and both are slightly higher rated.

SP74 = 74.3 mm inducer / 102mm exducer
GT42 = 70.3 mm or 74.3 mm inducer / 102mm exducer
The GT42s compressor HOUSING is much bigger - which is why everyone says "WOW THATS HUGE" .... when in fact - it's not (really). But the larger housing does help.
It just annoys me when people don't know what they're looking at.
You are correct however Garrett refers to exducer when sizing the wheels and every time I've spoken to Garrett techs its always been that way. If you ever get a chance take a look inside the catalog, they list them that way as well, and the housing is huge. I think I'm going to start calling my turbos AS35 AS40 AS42 then no-one will know what they are.
