Largest single turbo upgrade out there (big pics)

Well I think this was posted about a year or so ago, but I'm not sure how many have really seen these pics.
They are from the Hitman's webiste www.hitman.hm
He LOVES huge turbos and got this one for his homemade 3 rotor engine. Even he said "i've gone to far, this is way too big"

What the **** are you planning on doing with that bohemoth. Your rotary would have to wind out to at least 12k rpm's to be able to spool at im guessing 6k and still have room left in the rpm range to make some power. But anyways you kick *** for trying. Let me know if you ever do a dyno run with that beast.

sbader, it helps that the turbo is going on a 3 rotor custom built engine.

Nonetheless, it's f*kin' huge!

Doesn't even look real. Looks photoshopped. If it's real, it has to be a turbo for a Helicopter or something.

It is real. I exchanged a few emails back in the day (a year ago maybe) about it with him. I can't remember where he got it, some industrial application. Not made for any road vehicle.

I think it proboly for Large Farm tractors, or Construction vehicles, i recall, that on Garrett's website, they had turbo chargers for......get this....64 liter engines.

looks like a TV 92 but no pics showed the bearing housing to confirm this for me , if it is Caterpillar uses them on industrial machinery
i think you will find these pics are a bit of a gee up or **** factor because the turbo is not suited for automotive use
