Hi all,

I'm re-wiring my ecu, and it has a port for a knock sensor. Does anyone use a knock sensor when running an aftermarket ECU? I know lots of people do on piston engines, but I never see anyone mention it in this forum.

 

I'll admit I have no experience on it for a rotary but I really like this walk through from motec about setting up a knock sensor.

Just open up the user manual for it and it walks you through how to setup a knock sensor for a specific engine instead of just using values from other peoples configurations.
