KKK hybrid ID problem

KKK hybrid ID problem

here is some info and pics of the turbo I bought from a friend 3rd hand..

I will try to get better pics of the tags and attach them in a couple of hours when I get back home. I will try to meassure the A/R aswell and see if I can figure out if this will even spool on a 13b


This is what he sent me in an email:

KKK on inlet and exhaust housings
(On metal tag) Code: RV
" " Model: K28

Exhaust housing #'s:
5223 101 6597

GGG 40 (weird symbol) 2

Is that a t3 flange? Definitley not a t4, looks like the shape of a t3 but also looks like it may be bigger than a t3.

ok here are some pics

inside diameter of the icompressor inlet is 2.5" outside is like 2.75"
inside diameter of compressor outlet is 2", outside is 2.5"

exhasut is 2 7/8"

I`ve got a kkk k27. It starts to spool at 2700rpm on my street ported 13 with 8,5:1 comp. rotors. here`s some messurements of it to compare it with.
compressor wheel:
outer dia. 3.43", inner dia. 2.24",intake 2.28", outlet 1.65"

Turbine wheel :
outer dia. 2.99", iner dia. 2.6", exhaust outlet 3"

well ok i was told it is a k28 cold side with a k29 hot side

Ive been to lazy to take it apart and calc AR's but should post back after I get that done and get it on the car.
