just won a TD06 turbo kit on Yahoo Japan..

I just won a GReddy TD06 turbo kit from Yahoo Japan. What can I expect out of this turbo?

I have a stock port block, will be running 4 850cc injectors at 48psi base pressure, PFC, wideband, full 3'' exhaust, a SMIC of some kind (haven't found one yet) along with all the other little supporting things you need to run single.

I've heard this particular turbo maxes out at around 380WHP, but at what PSI is that?

This is the kit I won BTW. Got it for 35,xxxJPY + $100 broker fee and about $250 CAD for EMS Shipping. Don't worry, the turbo will be getting a full rebuild, and the manifold, exhaust housing and downpipe will all be cleaned up and ceramic coated. All in all, I think I got a pretty good deal.

Expect a quick spool. I think it would be a great street/auto-x/circuit turbo.

I keep wanting to get a TD06 but the forum keeps talking me out of it. Post updates with how you like it!

will do.

just got shipped today from Japan, should be here in 2 weeks or so.

Hopefully the car will be limping along on a base map in about a month or so.

I am pretty involved with local AutoX and Solo2, so I will test the car well and post how it is.

for $800CAD (like $650US) I can't complain...

Greddy has an FC3S 20G kit. the highest dyno I've seen on it was about 350rwhp, which is a big upgrade for a 2nd gen but essentially the same output as the stock twins.

that's fine. I just wanted to get rid of the twins and everything associated with them.

The car will be a track/autoX car... so I want fast spool.

and 350whp is a lot on a small light car like the RX7.

Just curious as to where the 20G kit stands with the RX6 kit. I'm looking to do a single conversion for the same reason but have had a hard time getting a comparo.
