Just got a hx35

Hey guys,

I picked up a holset hx35 that I will be throwing on my s5 t2 block. I picked it up with the manifold, downpipe, and it has an external tial wastegate. I will be picking up an apexi power FC and probably 1680x4 inj. I'm looking for about 300-400hp.

The block is a basic rebuild with stock ports so I don't want to go for too much power. Is this a realistic set up? And is anyone else running a hx35 or similar set up that could please share their experience and tips?

Thanks
Ricky

Which turbine housing are you planning on running? The stock 12cm^2 is TOO SMALL for a rotary and will choke. I'm currently running hx35w; with 21cm^2 housing which you can pick up on ebay for <$70 which I highly recommend. It's still a "T3" flange though :\

With proper tuning you'll be over 300 but 400 is pushing it. On stock ports.... I doubt it's possible. GL!
