Jay-Tech Pro-Jay intake manifolds

Jeff, The JW will need lots of port matching at the top of the manifold where the TB sits to get the 4 TB butterflys to line up properly with the 4 intake runners in the manifold. what chassis are you planning to run this setup in? the JW intake is very tall and will not clear the hood on a FD with TB and 'normal' sized hat. you can either cut and shorten the JW, or comprimise by using one of the low profile hats sold by various outlets.

Just at the top? That's no problem at all.
It's going in an FB. These supposedly have a higher hood. And I plan to use an RB Holley 600 for NA break in. After that I have a boost prepped Holley 650 double pumper that may or may not work right. If it doesn't work right, I may go with a TB in the future as the car is a GSL-SE and already set up for EFI (I just don't like EFI lol).
Walbro 255
3/8" fuel send line, stock 5/16" return line
MegaSquirt "classic" that was set up to run a 20B in NA mode but needed tuning.
Just a question. How expensive is the RX parts manifold? I wonder if it's too late to cancel my order at summit...

It's here! It looks better than I thought it would. The ports line up fine, but it looks like the casting is compatible with the Cosmo engine as well. So since the ports on an FD are shorter, and it was machined for them, there is a step inside the ports that I'll need to match from the runner to the FD port shape. This must be what everyone was talking about. Not technically port matching, but more like runner matching.

No (sort of), we are talking about the other side of the ports, the one that mates to the the TB. It really depends on the TB that you are using; when I had the 750cfm tb, there was no need to port the manifold, but when you move to the E&J/RXParts/ProJay...
