I did my single turbo 2 years ago. I forgot why I have gas slowly adding into my oil. I knew it was going to happen when I changed something but now I can't remember what it was.

Anyone know what I removed and or forgot to reinstall?

I think it's just a matter of blowby. I have fuel smell in my oil from the catch-can with a BRAND NEW rebuild. We did a compression test the other weekend and had low compression on one point, indicating a side seal in error.

When was your rebuild and/or your last compression test?

Good question. Never.
40000 on the engine.

Engine is running great from my pov. But I haven't compression tested it or anything.

I could have swore I removed something that controlled it from happening.

I don't have a catch can I think. Haha it's been so long

My fresh rebuild's oil already smells like gas, with only 3 miles on it! I don't worry about it so much during the break in process.
