Intercooler for gt35R?
If you or a friend run the GT35R turbo what intercooler is the best fit? After doing my research it seems to me that the ETS intercooler kit for the rx7 isnt a bad deal. Any opinions would greatly be appreciated.

IMO- couple of things to consider once you convert to single turbo for the I/C set up.
I have seen great results with people who have changed to V mount setup for their single-T and the choices for the I/C core is limitless. Depending on the size of the core and the placement of the I/C core will determine the over all layout of the pipes(inlet and outlet) In all the different single turbo setups, I've yet to see two similar set up( this could be looked upon as bad or good).
I like the v-mount cores that allows the owner to retain his A/C system.
other than that get together with a good fabricator for the welding job and things should be a straight forward job.

I just bought an ETS FMIC and called them first to see if they would make it with a larger core for me. They were extremely helpful with great customer service as well. I had them make the core just an inch wider and I opted for the 4" also. My core alone measures 26x9x4. I got the SS polished piping too and it all looks great. I'd say the only draw back is that all in/out lets are 2.5" and then use a reducer coupler for going to a 3" pipe. I think they do this for the install. If you look on the site and see how the 2.5" elbows enters the engine bay without modification it makes sense. I haven't put it on yet but from the site and info it seems like it will be an easy install also.

I love my Blitz.....easy install, looks great, the car runs cool.
I pushed my FD as hard as I could through the tail of the dragon (11 miles, 300+ curves) with RA1 rubber, Racing Brake BBK, 16 psi on my 500R etc etc and my coolant temps never went past 92 degrees C. This on a 75ish? F day.
(keep in mind I have no a/c and p/s and have went to some effort to keep my engine bay heat down)
