Well here is an update. My specks are in an earlier post. I have a GTR core. I have put about 800 miles on my engine 250 + of which have been at speeds of 95 + MPH. I have a 3 Freeway loop I have been lapping ( Prox 16 miles) to try to get some miles on my engine never above 4000RPM and trying not to make boost with my single turbo kit. Outside air temperature was between 52F. and 70F. My temps never went above 185F. My thermostat is 185F = 85C. Cursing around in and out of traffic temps climbed to 190F = 88C. ( Speeds of around 20 to 30 mph. ) It was Prox. 80F outside. Stop and go traffic 80F outside my temps climbed to 190 and I turned on my fan. ( 1 - 15" flex light Thin ) can't remember the cfm ( Pull though type.) My temps did not climb but stayed at 190. I was not using the air conditioning.( Not good ) I will probably have to get 1 more fan when it gets to be 100F outside when running my air.

So from my basic testing so far - A larger front bumper opening is mandatory. Also a way to get the air out from under the hood. Properly vented hood ( FOR YOUR SETUP ), remove inner fender plastic or any other means that you can come up with. I also have a very large surface area for my radiator and prox 2 - 3/4 gallons of coolant. ( Intercooler, Air conditioning condenser and Radiator are vertically mounted.)

After my computer has a basic setup from some dyno times with XS, I will do more fine tuning but I don't know anywhere that it is safe to test on pubic roads in California. If I hurt my self that is my problem, I don't even want think about hurting another person. I know of 1 road in Nevada that is probably stile safe for testing ( and no I will not say where ) but it looks like track time instead. I have to set up my suspension first and purchase decent tires also.

So if anyone is interested I will post more results when I get them.

This is silver93t posting. (I don't feel like logging 7sweetie out) I am running the greddy 2 row with my gt 35/40 car. I also have the mazdacomp radiator and 99 front end. I made a custom duct to my radiator by lowering the 99 lip and undertray with small pieces of aluminum tubing. This makes a small duct that offers a direct shot of air to the radiator. I road race more that I drag and have no overheating problems. When I was at MADS a couple months ago I ran the car hard for 20min+ in mid 80 degree heat and didn't even hit 100 degrees C coolant temp. I suggest that you guys that have overheating problems with f/m ics try something like this. Its extremely cheep and very easy to do. Plus I think it looks cool with the little "teeth" on my bumper.
