installing t51r "pics"
Here are some pics of my car. I about done installing the turbo just have to make a dp and hook up all vacuum hoses. I ordered a blitz fmic should be installing it within the next week. My mods are stage 3 ported motor by Jason at rx7store, mp, trust catback, fuel pump, fuel reg, 850cc primaries, 1300 secondaries, fluidline rad, profec b spec 2, act street/strip clutch. Cant wait to be done and see what she will do. I know lag lag lag its not that important to me but if it is to bad I will just shoot some nitrous through her. Oh and buy the way it a 94 silver r2. I got it completely stock. Just got bit by the bug and started moding and of corse blew it up. So new motor and all the goodies got to go in. I have done all the work my self and for the first time I gess we will se how bad I get flamed. I took the motor out and put it in. When I got in the motor the clutch wouldn’t work so I had to drop the transmission. Oh and by the way I just turned 18. Here come the flames.....
yes i have a pfc

You think so. What kind of boost do you guys think I should tune for? I am going to have mc racing do a little tune to were I can drive it then I will have Steve Kahn tune it in the spring or when I get time to drive to Texas. What kind of hp do you think I will be able to make? I have a question can I have them tune for race fuel for high boost setting on profec and 93 on low boost setting. I have no clue on the tuning aspect.

that turbo needs to run 20 or higher.....only reason for a turbo that big. anything under 20 and you will get beat by a smaller turbo.

that's a really good price then. And I think you're gonna need some more fuel for that sucka too... I would go with 1600's in the secondaries which means you have to get a new rail too. I'm 18 too! Represent! I can barely even afford single turboing my car right now... err not really afford it at all but I'm still doing it

Did you happen to check and see if a engine ever blew up on that turbo? Hopefully there isnt a reason that you got such a good deal.
Looks good,

That's a big turbo and you will have to run high boost on it.You should put bigger secondaries like 1600cc the primaries you have on 850cc are cool. You will have a lot of lag but like you said that isn't a factor since your going to run nitrous.

I have a after market fuel rail for the primaries that i dont have installed. I would sell it or trade if for aftermarket secondarie fuel rail. the turbo was not on a blown motor. I would love for jason to tune my car but how in the hell am i gonna get it up there that damn far. It would be like a 18 hr drive. 5 hr to steve kahn. How high of boost can i run with out going to larger injectors and race gas. This isnt my daily driver but i do drive it alot on the weekends. Race gas would burn a big hole in the pocket.
